Merlot is once again gaining ground and LearnAboutWine is gathering the brightest STARS in Merlot for a virtual tasting on October 26th. This 60 MINUTES OF MERLOT MADNESS is in alignment with the #MERLOTME movement, and features wines from a diverse and amazing array of terroir. The winemakers themselves will appear as guest speakers! STARS events present a unique opportunity to taste the best and learn about the current trends and perspectives of the experts. Per organizer Ian Blackburn, “This lineup of producers is sensational and not to be missed.”

LearnAboutWine services over 3,000 wholesale accounts and will also perform a virtual trade tasting via Zoom. Noted top accounts will be invited to participate, and receive a tasting kit delivered via local courier.

They are Masters of Merlot: experts that can coax complexity and persistence out of the noble grape of Merlot. Aromas of steeped plum and blackberries. Hints of bay leaf, cocoa, perhaps river rocks. Cashmere-caliber texture. At its best, Merlot can be all of these – and it also perfect for autumn and the savory foods associated with it.
